The roster at right includes the team compositions for the 2007-2008 competitive season. Over 60 people signed up to fill a very limited number of slots on this past year's team, marking UVa's most competitive tryout process to date. Ashton attended high-school at Harpeth Hall School, an all girls school in Nashville, TN. She competed as an attorney on the on the Mock Trial Team there for four years. During her sophomore, junior, and senior years, the HH Mock Trial Team placed first in the City Tournament, and in her junior year, they placed fourth in the State. Ashton served as the Vice-President of her team during her junior year. Having developed a great love for the activity, Ashton decided to try out for Mock Trial at UVa during her second year. After studying abroad in Valencia, Spain in the fall of 2006, Ashton looks forward to future team success.
